To determine the proper class for

natural ability, age, and previous

training, entering students are required

to take a placement class. CCB's

curriculum allows students to study

the techniques and traditions of

classical ballet as well as many other

forms of dance.

Students are required to

- take a minimum number of classes

per week depending on level

- maintain the require number of

classes to remain on pointe,

- take a minimum number of weekly

technique classes for selection in

performances..

Primary source of communication is

email. Please check your email

regularly. Make sure CCB has your

most current and notify us of any

changes. Announcements may also be

posted on our website, Facebook and

Instagram page.

For the safety and comfort of our

students, our studios have sprung

dance floors. Parents may view classes

once a month from lobby. While viewing

classes parents must refrain from

speaking to or correcting students, and

should stay off the dance floor, thus

minimizing distractions. NO cell phone

use in studio. During CV19 no viewing

allowed.

Hate speech, harassment of any kind will not be tolerated. CCB reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.

Advanced/pre-professional students

have the opportunity to join CCB's

performing company. Coast City Ballet

offers a link between training and

performance by providing dancers of all

levels with a forum to explore their

talents, gain experience, grow as

performers, and the opportunity to work

and perform in a professional setting.

Axis Theater, the Musical Theatre division of CCB is OCs newest theatre company.

Axis was established in 2018 by theatre

professionals/enthusiasts, and also offers a unique opportunity for performers to experience live theatre including Acting / Singing / Dancing / Improv.
