As active participants in the community, it is our goal to foster excellence in the arts, and in education. With
this in mind, we have an effective program to invite schools to participate: Coast City Ballet’s “Excellence in
Education!” Awards Program. This program is fully funded, and it is of course offered at no cost to school.
Through the Coast City Ballet’s “Excellence in Education!” Awards Program, we award complimentary tickets
to Coast City Ballet ~ Pacific Dance Center performances to students who have demonstrated academic
excellence and excellence as model citizens. We lean on teachers’ and administrators’ expertise for the
selection process.
This is not only a great incentive for students, it is also an opportunity to expose children and teens to the
wonderful art of dance Students who are not selected for Coast City Ballet’s “Excellence in Education!”
Awards Program are enthusiastically encouraged to come and see our performances as well. Tickets can be
obtained at group-discount rates.
